Konekt Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to anyone who accesses or uses Konekt, including business customers, account owners, agents, and authorized users.

Its purpose is to protect users, customers, third parties, and Konekt's systems from unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity.

This Policy forms part of the Konekt Terms of Service.

2. Lawful Use

You must use Konekt in accordance with applicable law, these terms, and any relevant third-party terms.

You must not use Konekt to facilitate fraud, impersonation, harassment, unlawful discrimination, unauthorized surveillance, or other unlawful activity.

3. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• Send unlawful spam, phishing messages, or deceptive communications.

• Impersonate another person or organization without authorization.

• Access another user's account, communications, or data without permission.

• Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, usage restrictions, or security protections.

• Introduce malware or attempt to compromise the platform.

• Interfere with the availability, integrity, or performance of Konekt.

• Scrape, harvest, or collect personal data without proper authorization.

• Use Konekt to violate intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other third-party rights.

• Use the service to distribute unlawful content or facilitate serious harm.

• Misuse integrations, credentials, APIs, or connected social media accounts.

• Attempt to extract confidential system information or gain unauthorized access to models or infrastructure.

4. Personal Data

You must only submit personal data that you are authorized to process and that is appropriate for the relevant purpose.

You are responsible for providing required notices, obtaining required permissions, selecting an appropriate lawful basis, and responding to requests from individuals where you control the processing.

Do not submit passwords, payment-card security codes, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive data unless the use is necessary, lawful, and appropriately protected.

5. AI Use

Konekt includes AI-assisted features using the ChatGPT API and Gemini API.

You must not use these features to:

• Generate or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive communications.

• Misrepresent AI-generated content as verified fact.

• Make high-impact decisions about people without appropriate legal authority and safeguards.

• Circumvent safety measures or provider restrictions.

• Submit personal or confidential information without authorization.

• Use outputs in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content when appropriate before using it in customer interactions.

6. Security and Reporting

You must not probe, test, or exploit Konekt's systems without authorization.

If you discover a security vulnerability, suspected data exposure, or unauthorized access, report it promptly to privacy@konekt.is. Do not exploit the issue, access additional data, or publicly disclose sensitive technical details before giving Konekt a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

Konekt may investigate suspected violations to protect the service and its users, subject to applicable law.

Where reasonably necessary, we may remove content, restrict functionality, suspend access, or terminate an account in accordance with the Terms of Service and applicable law.

We will consider the circumstances and severity of a violation when deciding what action is appropriate.

8. Reporting Abuse

To report suspected abuse or a violation of this Policy, contact privacy@konekt.is. Include enough information to help us investigate, but do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy as the service and legal requirements evolve. The latest version will be published on our website.
